Today, millions of employees looking for career growth are stuck between bad HR software and impenetrable spreadsheets. There are no career development products that employees and managers really want to use.
That's not good enough. Managers should have the power to support their teams, and anyone should have the opportunity to be the best version of themselves and create careers that they love.
We're changing all that. And we need your help.
We're a small team with backgrounds at fantastic companies across the UK and beyond.
We've experienced this problem first hand building design and engineering teams and are excited to build the product we would have wanted to give to our teams.
"It’s honestly a privilege to work in such a collaborative, inspiring and fun environment. For the Progression team, there is no idea too big. We know we have a huge opportunity to seize and we’re continually adding to our skilled and friendly team to make that happen."
Meg, Customer Success
"Progression has an incredible and important mission, a huge opportunity and a small, focused team that is kind and talented. My first month has already been fun, challenging, and we’re already helping each other learn."
Sam, Software Engineer
We're building a remote team (starting with UK, but with plans to expand further). Get the flexibility and comfort of home, while building a global business.
We've seen command and control, and we ain't it. We trust you to do great work, and give you freedom to make great decisions.
Startups don't have to be 18 hour day crunch and crash. Sure there's lots to do, but we believe that healthy balance produces better work and happier people.
We'll make sure you're compensated fairly for believing in us and you'll receive generous options to share in the success of the company.
We have all our best ideas in spanish swimming pools. We'll expect you to use your holiday allowance as a minimum.
A budget for professional growth, mental health or coaching, no questions asked. (It's kind of what we do.)
As a remote first team we get the best of both worlds: the flexibility and focus of working remotely paired with regular IRL events to get to know the team, do something fun and take a break from the screen. We run company meetups roughly every six weeks, usually from our East London studio space at Second Home.
We believe that people do their best work (and are happiest) when they're acting like owners. We'll look for proof that you thrive when given a goal and the freedom to run.
As a member of our founding team you'll make decisions that will last for years. It's incredibly important that you're thinking critically about our past, present and future output.
Small teams are far more efficient than large teams, and we intend to continue building an efficient business. The ability to avoid busy-work and buy yourself or others time is incredibly important.
We surface new ideas, challenge preconceptions, call out ambiguity. But we do so with empathy and consideration. We expect honesty, delivered with positivity and with a bias to trust.
We're very committed to building a diverse team and as such will ensure that our hiring process is fair too.
Whatever your race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability, we want to hear from you.
